"Keep It Super Simple" said Ed Halligan, Knifemaker's Guild Member, and designer/engineer of CRKT's new K.I.S.S. knife (Patent Pending). And it is! The compact, palm-size folder has two major components - Blade and Frame - precision fine blanked for superior fit and smooth operation.

The ingenuity of the K.I.S.S. Frame Lock (TM) design is that the secure, safe and strong blade lock serves not only as part of the frame but also as the handle itself. A thumb-stud is used to one-hand open the blade, and as the blade is fully rotated open the Frame Lock snaps crisply in behind the blade to guarantee a sound lock-up. And the blade can be closed by one-hand by simply releasing the Frame Lock.

The blade shape is tanto-inspired--Chisel-Point on the front and flat on the backside--so that when the blade is closed onto its handle/frame, the precision fit effectively "seals" the cutting edge to the frame, even though it's exposed. An accessible hex-head fastener allows easy, precise adjustment of open/closing tension. Both blade and frame are AUS6M Stainless Steel and are fine bead-blast finished as is the pocket/money clip and other hardware.

The design of the K.I.S.S. pocket/money clip permits it to be used in a variety of ways: clipped to the pocket; as a money clip knife; and with split-ring or lanyard, as a key chain knife.

Columbia River Knife & Tool (CRKT), is a Tualatin, Oregon-based manufacturer of knives, tools, and accessories founded in 1994.

CRKT means Quality. All CRKT knives and tools are built incorporating the most advanced equipment and production systems available, and quality is controlled from beginning to end. Knives are built the way they should be built?without compromising quality in any part of their creation. CRKT accessories are crafted to the same standards as the knives, so that each sheath, for example, lives up to the customers? high expectations.

Sport & Work Knives

CRKT continues to "think outside the box" by seeking out new and unique designs and mechanisms, just when everyone in the industry thinks they have seen it all. For example, the company is introducing the tiny McGinnis Shrimp, the

Gekkota Pocket and Golf, the ExiTool, Ta-Bar Tool, Norfork Diver and Whitewater, and Klecker NIRK? all exciting and unusual. At the same time, it continues to broaden it?s traditional knife models, including for the first time, Classic pocket knives, as well as the Centofante Tribute, Carson M4-02 series, and the Delegate and Vertex lines.

More natural and premium materials.

CRKT is continuing to specify the natural and premium materials that are common in the best custom knives, including more knives

with layered Micarta, G10, stag, jig bone, white bone, ram horn, and hardwoods such as thuya root, cocobolo, ebony, walnut, and burl.

CRKT Limited Lifetime Warranty: This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship. If one of our knives ever breaks or fails because of material or manufacturing defect, we?ll replace the knife. This warranty runs as long as you own your knife. Coverage ends if you sell or otherwise transfer the knife to someone else, or if your CRKT knife is modified in any way.

Buck Knives Spitfire, Green Aluminum, Plain
"I find this knife to be a solid edc performer. I have been carrying it for about two eeeks now. I am a contractor and I am tough on blades. I like the pocket clip and how secure it is. Most picket clips fail for me after a while. This seems to be very strong and durable. The blade is easy to sharpen. If it had an assisted opener it would be a 5."
