Ka-bar 5701 Zombie Killer "WAR" Sword Fixed Blade
It's Z-day. Half of the population is infected with a virus that makes them thirsty for blood and hungry for flesh. The dead walk among the living, and the hordes of zombies are getting closer. If there is only one knife you could have in your hand, make it the KA-BAR Zombie Killer War Sword.
The ZK War Sword is the ultimate zombie exterminator. With a nearly 10-inch blade, the knife will mow down the undead with impunity.
Before you decry the War Sword as nothing more than a gimmick, the knife is designed with functionality as its highest priority. Just as you would want out of a solid camping knife, the War Sword is meant to stand up to the toughest tasks -- whether that's dismantling zombies or clearing away brush.
The minute you get your hands on the ZK War Sword, you'll immediately notice that the blade is no joke. The drop point blade is 9 3/4 inches of solid SK5 high carbon steel, which is great for large field knives.
Like all good zombie weapons, the War Sword features toxic green handles for higher visibility. Made of GFN-PA66 scales, the handles have an ergonomic design with nice texture for additional grip.
The best part about the handle is that it comes with an extra set of black scales, so when you're not using the War Sword to take down a zombie or two, you can give the knife a cohesive tactical look.
If that's not enough, the knife also comes with a durable nylon sheath with a huge front pocket for additional storage and another slot to put the included Acheron skeleton knife.
As part of the Zombie Killer collection from KA-BAR (which also includes the Famine Tanto, Death Dagger, and Pestilence Chopper), the War Sword is not only designed to be a fully functional tool for outdoor use but also a fully functional weapon in an apocalypse.

Making a quality KA-BAR product requires the talent of experienced craftspeople performing dozens of processes with precision and skill. Each knife undergoes specific manufacturing processes to ensure corrosion resistance, strength, edge holding ability, and an out-of-the-box razor sharp cutting edge.
Soon after its introduction in the mid-1920's, the KA-BAR trademark became widely known and respected. There have been many versions of how the KA-BAR name came to be, but all evidence points to a letter received from a fur trapper. This particular fur trapper's testimonial turned out to be the most significant ever received by the company.
He wrote, in very rough English, that his gun had jammed and that he had therefore relied on his knife to kill a wounded bear that was attacking him. In thanking the company for their quality product the trapper described using his knife to kill the bear. All that was legible of his scrawled writing was "k a bar". The company was so honored by this testimonial that they adopted this phrase and used it as their trademark, KA-BAR.
