A shorter sword, made in accordance with the historical origin of the Roman Gladius. The magnificent handle is heavy, and has been extensively adorned with ornaments. The traditionally wide Gladius blade of this collector's piece is made of 440 stainless steel, and has a decorative cutting edge. The wooden sheath is covered with leather, and adorned with heavy metal fittings. The ornaments show traditional scenes from the era of the Roman Empire.
