Schrade Fixed Blade Tanto Re-Curve Blade Full Tang G-10 Overlay Handle
The Schrade SCHF12 Recurved Tanto Fixed Blade boasts an array of features that upgrade the knife from great to the greatest. Let's start with the well-designed blade.
A hefty 4.9-inch blade made of stone-washed 8Cr13MoV high carbon stainless steel kicks off this durable multipurpose knife, but the fun doesn't stop there. The blade rocks a modified tanto point that brings the tip closer to the center, allowing for increased control and better penetration.
If the modified tanto isn't what instantly catches your eye on the SCHF12, you'll undoubtedly notice the recurved blade. The recurved blade gives you a longer edge that's great for cutting things like rope and other everyday objects.
Surrounding the full tang on the knife is smooth G-10 overlays with notches to give your fingers the firm grip you need when exerting tremendous force.
At the butt of the knife, you'll find a breaker pommel for emergency situations while the lanyard hole gives you extra security when chopping with the knife.
Because carrying a 9.9-inch overall knife can be burdensome, the SCHF12 comes with a thermoplastic sheath with multiple carry options.
