Badass knife

Although this was a gift for one of my nephews, of course I opened it and checked it out being a knife connoisseur myself, felt comfortable in hands. We'll see what kind of use he puts it through for the longevity.

Plastic handle well contoured, good mold but sounds hollow so may not be reliable under stress. Not well balance. Head-heavy 440 steel blade can only cut cake...you will need to sharpen before use, however the hard tanto tip would probably pierce sheet metal effortlessly. Plastic sheath functional but also cheap feeling. Great $20 knife for disposable gear. Cool tactical styling gets highest marks.

Sometimes the price of something is not an indicator of quality. For the money this is a great knife that has a in-hand comfortable balance. The "factory" edge needed some fine tuning and future use will determine its ability to hold its edge.

Good length, good weight on blade, good grip on handle.Bad serrated area, not full tang(would not rely on weld), not sharpened. I will not recommend this as a survival knife. but maybe as a show piece. I fear it will have no use outside what so ever.
