It is not the old USA made one I lost in a house fire but it is a nice little pocket knife.
To start this off I would just like to say that this knife has been fantastic so far and I look forward to putting this steel to the test. The factory grind is quite good out of the box already, and the size and weight is perfect for me. I love spear point blades so this seemed like a no-brainer over some similar alternatives. I really like the micarta scales, they add a nice look and texture while using the knife, and the lock up is rock solid with no perceptible play in the blade.
Overall this knife meets every expectation I had for it except one; I thought I wouldn't mind the symmetrical shape of the handle but occasionally I find myself picking the knife up backwards. Not a safety issue or anything, as I close it before setting it down every time. However I would much prefer something near the blade end to identify whether the edge is up or down in the hand, as I find the clip to basically "vanish" from my perception while using the knife (another pro, i originally feared it would get in my way or become uncomfortable).
This is all a matter of preference and by all objective metrics this knife is phenomenal. Magnacut provides a perfect middle ground of edge retention and toughness for daily use while also lending incredible corrosion resistance, arguably best-in-class. I don't fear cutting thin aluminum or cardboard boxes with this knife, knowing it will hold up to any reasonable task with minimal resharpening required to get back to a shaving sharp edge in no time. I would, knowing what I do now, absolutely buy this knife again. While I think it could be slightly better for my own taste, I feel this serves its purpose as an EDC blade well and I would happily purchase another should the need arise. If you're after a Magnacut knife and enjoy this type of blade profile I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This knife is extremely cheap quality. I actually broke it on the first day. I do not recommend.

This is a very pretty knife. The hidden release mechanism is very difficult. Material scratches very easily and has to be babied quite a bit. The blade also can be easily stained.
It arrived in a timely manner, and is good quality for the price. I'm very satisfied with it.

I ordered two sets of these and only received one. I emailed many times and received no response and no resolution. The quality is also poor, two immediately bent after using once or twice.

The Kershaw Ken Onion Leek has been around a long time. This USA Flag design really caught my eye, especially with America's 250th Anniversary coming up in 2026. The price was deeply discounted, and the knife itself is superb in design and craftmanship. Razor sharp right out of the box, as usual for Kershaw. Great knife, great design, made in the USA. This is a sharp out of the box knife with great fast hard opening action, but dang this is a tiny knife. It is nearly 4.75 inches long opened, but when i say small, it is less than 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch width and depth. This is why i say small. I love Cobratec knives and other than this being a part of my knife collection, I dont see another use for it. It is well made and will hold up well. However, as Ive said, it is small.

I was for a compact knife. Sharp. Easy to open as i have neurological issues. Always in the house or outside and i don't have a knife which means i have to go back inside to find one. They are either too big or a pocket knife. Neither serves my purpose. so far this one has. i bought two. one is my car. may need to buy two more for the other cars.
if anybody can recommend a better knife let me know.
