The CRKT Contrail 6031 is a discontinued Jim Hammond design from CRKT's early Italian-made lineup. Built as an exceptionally lightweight everyday-carry folder, the Contrail combines a compact 2.5-inch blade with distinctive blue-and-black layered G10 handles and an open-frame construction.
Model 6031 uses CRKT's combination edge with Triple-Point™ serrations. The blade opens with ambidextrous dual thumb studs and locks with an inset stainless-steel liner lock. Deep traction grooves and aggressively textured G10 help provide secure control despite the knife's remarkably low 1.1-ounce weight.
With a closed length of only 3.25 inches, the Contrail is particularly well suited to lightweight carry, hiking, climbing, boating, cycling, or collectors looking for an uncommon discontinued CRKT manufactured in Italy.
