ESEE Libertariat USA – Compact American-Made Chopper
The ESEE Libertariat USA brings back the cult-favorite Libertariat design with upgraded materials and USA manufacturing. Its squared-off 9-inch blade is made from tough 1095 carbon steel, while the Micarta handle offers a secure, weather-resistant grip for hard outdoor use.
Designed by John Armstrong as a lightweight tropical survival and camp tool, the Libertariat bridges the gap between a large fixed blade and a traditional machete. Its compact 14-inch overall length makes it easy to carry while still providing enough blade for brush clearing, chopping, batoning, food prep, and general camp work.
The distinctive hole near the front of the blade can be used with a stick as a secondary handle for draw-knife-style work, while the squared spine provides useful control for bushcraft tasks.

Carbon Steel Care: 1095 carbon steel can develop patina or corrosion if left wet. Clean and dry the blade after use and apply a light coat of oil when storing.
