The Spyderco Native 5 C41GP5 is a compact, American-made folding knife that combines premium CPM S30V blade steel with a durable G-10 handle and Spyderco's proven Back Lock design. Now in its fifth generation, the Native 5 has become one of Spyderco's most established everyday-carry platforms.
The 2.95-inch plain-edge blade is crafted from CPM S30V stainless steel and features a full-flat grind. S30V is a premium powder-metallurgy stainless steel known for its excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The blade also features a distal taper and subtle swedge that refine the blade's cutting geometry and appearance.
The linerless G-10 handle provides a secure, durable grip while keeping the knife relatively lightweight. A stainless steel backspacer adds structural support, while the ergonomically shaped handle includes a forward finger choil for additional grip options.
Spyderco's precision-machined Back Lock provides secure blade retention and smooth operation. The signature Spyderco Round Hole allows easy one-handed opening with either hand.
A four-position pocket clip supports tip-up or tip-down carry on either side, making the Native 5 highly versatile for both right- and left-handed users.
