The Spyderco Para 3 C223GPCBL combines the compact, proven design of the Para 3 with Spyderco's proprietary CPM SPY27 stainless steel. Designed to deliver a full-service cutting tool in a compact package, the Para 3 offers an excellent balance of size, weight, ergonomics, and cutting performance.
The 2.92-inch plain-edge blade is made from CPM SPY27, a premium stainless steel developed by Spyderco in collaboration with Crucible Industries. Based on the proven chemistry of VG-10, SPY27 increases the levels of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium while adding niobium and nitrogen. Crucible's particle-metallurgy process creates a highly uniform microstructure designed to maximize the steel's performance.
The blade features a clean satin finish and Spyderco's signature full-flat grind for efficient cutting performance. The compact 2.92-inch blade length also makes the Para 3 an appealing choice for customers who prefer a smaller folder.

About CPM SPY27
CPM SPY27 is Spyderco's proprietary stainless steel developed to provide a high-performance balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry builds on VG-10 while increasing carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium and adding niobium and nitrogen. The steel is produced using Crucible Industries' particle-metallurgy process for a consistent microstructure.
