The Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight Blackout C81PBBK2 takes the proven Para Military 2 platform and trims the weight without sacrificing the features that made the PM2 a favorite. Instead of traditional G-10 scales, this version uses lightweight black FRN while retaining Spyderco's signature Compression Lock and full-size cutting performance.
The 3.47-inch clip point blade is crafted from CTS BD1N stainless steel and features a full-flat grind for efficient slicing. Its black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating provides a durable, low-reflectivity finish while complementing the blackout configuration. CTS BD1N offers a balanced combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, toughness, and ease of sharpening.
The lightweight black FRN handle incorporates Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture for a secure grip in wet or dry conditions. The Compression Lock provides secure blade lockup while allowing convenient one-handed operation, and the signature Spyderco Round Hole provides ambidextrous opening.
