The Spyderco Police Model C07P is one of the most recognizable designs in Spyderco's history. Introduced in the 1980s in response to demand from law-enforcement professionals, the Police Model was designed to provide substantial cutting performance in a slim, easy-to-carry folding knife. Decades later, it remains one of Spyderco's classic designs.
This C07P plain-edge version features the Police Model's signature stainless steel handle and a long, slim blade profile. The blade is hollow ground and features a swedge that creates a fine, acute point while reducing weight toward the spine.
The stainless steel handle gives the Police Model a distinctive, traditional Spyderco appearance and provides a substantial feel in hand. The handle is also suitable for engraving or other personalization.
A back lock secures the blade open during use, while Spyderco's trademark Round Hole allows convenient one-handed opening. The C07P features a right-hand, tip-down pocket clip.

Making knives that consistently deliver reliable high-performance requires an ongoing commitment to testing. In our million-dollar testing facility we examine edge retention with a CATRA machine, look for rust development with Q-FOG, check the force needed to open and close a knife. We also repeatedly test for stress, wear, optimal heat-treating and actively search for higher quality, performance enhancing steels and materials.
