it will open

forget pushing down ,slide to the right.i put my thumb on the edge for max traction-then slide right.when it was new i put a couple drops of knife oil on it and opened it 50/60 times while watching tv.now it freat!

Too hard to open

Very nice looking knife, but the opening mechanism was so stiff it took 2 hands and too much effort to open. Returned.
