TOPS/Buck CSAR-T, 3.5" 154CM Steel Modified Tanto Blade, Black G-10 Handles, Nylon Sheath
The TOPS/Buck CSAR-T is one of the most rugged, hard-core folders you'll ever encounter. Standing for Combat Search And Rescue Tool, the CSAR-T is a no-nonsense knife that can withstand just about anything you throw at it.
Its strength begins with the stout 3.5-inch blade made from 154CM stainless steel, an American alloy that balances edge retention with corrosion resistance. A modified tanto blade profile makes the knife versatile, with a strong point for piercing and a long edge for slicing. Cutouts in the thick blade also help reduce the weight and add extra functionality.
Thumb studs on either side of the blade allow for easy ambidextrous opening and jimping along the spine give better control during finer tasks. It stays open via a thick liner lock.
This collaboration between TOPS Knives and Buck Knives features a handle with a hefty stainless steel frame with Rocky Mountain Tread G-10 overlays. To say the grip is reliable is an understatement. The handle even has a slot to stick hex bits.
Carrying a knife this large may not always be the most intuitive, which is why it comes with two options. You can use the reversible tip-down pocket clip or you can put it in its heavy-duty nylon sheath.
And, of course, that "USA" marking right on the blade makes it all the better.
