Like Robin to Batman or Chewbacca to Han Solo, the Leatherman Sidekick is the perfect thing to have at your side when you need a little help. Unlike some of the larger Leatherman models, the Sidekick stands out from its brethren with a compact and lighter design that still features many of the tools you've come to expect from the respected brand.

Billed as an excellent option for first-time users of the iconic Leatherman, the Sidekick features 14 different tools, such as a wire stripper, serrated knife, plain-edged knife, saw, can opener, bottle opener, ruler, can opener, bottle opener, pliers, screwdrivers, and more. The needlenose and regular pliers, along with the wire cutters, are spring-loaded to make doing jobs easier without having to manually open the tool each time.

The Sidekick is just as functional as a pocket knife too. The thumb cuts in the back of the blade make it easy to engage each of the 420HC stainless steel knives with one hand. Because Leatherman knows the Sidekick will frequently be in your hands fixing a sink or installing a light fixture, the stainless steel handles are rounded to improve ergonomics.

With this multitool at your side, you'll always have a helping hand. It also comes with a pocket clip and a carabiner.

The Leatherman Multi-Tool was actually invented by an Oregonian traveling Europe by bicycle. Leatherman decided that what he needed was multipurpose tool he could carry that would be lightweight and versatile. Thus was born the multi-tool which in the beginning was basically a plier with a number of blades and tools in the handle. Sure, there have been plenty of copycats but we consider the original Leatherman line to be the best in the business. Whether you want a high tech liner locking tool like the Wave or colorful pocket models like the Juice, you will always find the same high level of quality both in design and manufacture. All Leatherman tools are made in the U.S.

Buck Knives Spitfire, Green Aluminum, Plain
"I find this knife to be a solid edc performer. I have been carrying it for about two eeeks now. I am a contractor and I am tough on blades. I like the pocket clip and how secure it is. Most picket clips fail for me after a while. This seems to be very strong and durable. The blade is easy to sharpen. If it had an assisted opener it would be a 5."
