Great knife

Almost feels like an automatic knife! I just gently pushed on the flipper..? on the blade and the blade flicks open effortlessly. Dont have to put any pressure on the flipper. Blades material is solid as well. I shouldnt compare it to an automatic because i cant have one since i live in DTLA. This knife is assisted opening. But does not feel like it at all. I would imagine thats what an automatic blade flick open feels like, gentle push on the flipper and blade pops right out. I have other assisted openings from Kershaw and the flipper requires a small amount of pressure for blade to flick open. Not this knife! Get yourself one!

Outstanding safety tool

My 3rd SOG. My 1st one only had to sharpen it 1 time but the safety release and blade release wore out pretty quick and of course not covered under warranty. Upgraded to new trident and Love it so far just wish I could have gotten the Tanto blade
