At the same time, it continues to broaden it?s traditional knife models, including for the first time, Classic pocket knives, as well as the Centofante Tribute, Carson M4-02 series, and the Delegate and Vertex lines.
More natural and premium materials.
CRKT is continuing to specify the natural and premium materials that are common in the best custom knives, including more knives
with layered Micarta, G10, stag, jig bone, white bone, ram horn, and hardwoods such as thuya root, cocobolo, ebony, walnut, and burl.

If one of our knives ever breaks or fails because of material or manufacturing defect, we?ll replace the knife. This warranty runs as long as you own your knife. Coverage ends if you sell or otherwise transfer the knife to someone else, or if your CRKT knife is modified in any way.
This is a great knife but it is difficult to open. Hopefully the spring will loosen over time
I love this knife. It was sharp when I received it and holds its edge longer than other knifes I have owned.
My CRKT Carson knife has become my favorite, carry-it-all-the-time pocket pet. I sort of collect knives - within the limits of a retirement budget. I cannot shell out a couple of hundred bucks for a new toy. But the Carson has the design, the heft, and the build quality of a much more expensive knife. It is out of the box super sharp, for openers, with a nicely designed, ground and finished blade. Opening, however, is a problem: the construction it is so tight it took two hands to open the knife enough to trigger the opening assist. It took an email to Columbia River, the purchase of a number six torx wrench and a lot of flexing with knife oil to open with one hand. After practice I can now open it efficiently most of the time. The struggle is worth it - love this knife.
I bought this as a gift and has it personalized. My husband seems happy with it.
Hands down by far the very best knife I have ever owned as far as precision design and manufacturing. This knife not only is gorgeous but once its in your hands, you know that you are holding a very well made knife. Although the outburst assisted opening is stiff at first, the more its used the better it becomes. Very Very impressive knife.
