The first model of the Ontario RAT, which stands for Randall's Adventure Training, boasted an unwieldy and intimidating 3.5-inch blade, but Ontario came back with a manageable 3-inch blade, making it an excellent carry in urban settings.
This particular version of the RAT II has an AUS8 stainless steel blade with a full-flat grind and sleek black finish that matches the black nylon handle.
Despite being more compact than its larger brother, the RAT II has that same robust handle that feels natural in the hand.
The RAT II is designed for maximum comfort. A customizable clip allows placement in four different positions on the knife while the reversible thumbstud allows for use with either hand.
