The Kershaw Covalent is a mid-size folder that effortlessly combines form and function. Its comfortable glass-filled nylon handle is not only stylish but also provides a secure grip during use. The textured pockets add a touch of aesthetic appeal, making the Covalent a love at first sight.

When it comes to deployment, the Covalent is equipped with a flipper and operates on smooth manual KVT ball bearings. Unlocking the blade is just as simple with the innovative DuraLock system. This solid steel crossbar ensures that the blade remains securely in place while in use, giving you peace of mind during all your cutting tasks.

The Covalent boasts a 3.2-inch drop point blade with a flat grind constructed from tough D2 steel. This high-carbon tool steel is known for its exceptional wear resistance and edge retention. With a black-oxide finish, the blade not only looks sleek but also offers enhanced corrosion resistance.

Ease of use is further enhanced by the KVT ball-bearing system, ensuring a quick and effortless deployment of the blade with just a flick of your finger. The Covalent is designed for practicality, with an extra-deep-carry pocket clip that can be easily reversed for left or right carry. Plus, it features a lanyard hole for added versatility.

    Too cheap to send back

I have a few Kershaw knives that I like but this is not one of them. I bought this Covalent as the flipper was not real obvious like most are. Ball bearings aside, it still does not open up easy with one hand like a decent flipper should. D2 blade is good for working but this one is a little thin for use as a field knife. The Duralock system on this Covalent is hard to release when closing this knife one handed. The good thing about buying a knife this price is too cheap to send back.
