Crafted from Japanese 1095 high carbon and 15N20 alloy steel and heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 55-60 HRC, this White Deer knife boasts a sharp, durable blade ideal for various cutting tasks. The drop point, angled upper ridge, and filework spine enhance the blade's functionality and aesthetics.

The handle of the Bakelite Folding Damascus Knife is crafted from true Bakelite, which is known for its durability, heat resistance, and vintage flair. The handle bolstering is entirely handcrafted, with solid copper and brass sheet file work, giving the knife an antique and artisanal touch. Exquisite mosaic pins add an additional touch of elegance.

The knife comes with a genuine leather sheath holster, allowing for both safe storage and convenient transport. The liner locking mechanism ensures a secure hold of the blade during use.

not what I expected

I have bought an assortment of knives form Knife Depot and been mostly pleased with all of them save for this White Deer. I bought this knife based on the unusual look. It is a good looker but as a useful tool for me it is not. This knife has thumb studs that protrude quite far from both sides of the knife and this to me makes it awkward to manipulate and not easy to open unless you use the thumb stud. This knife is also very heavy in the hand. For looks a 4 and usefulness a 2 so that is why I gave it a 3.

I thank the Lord for the excellent knife depot return policy and have learned my lesson that like a woman, with knives looks can be deceiving!
