The 4.3-inch blade is optimized for performance and dependability. It starts with the Swedish Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. This alloy is a high-grade knife steel that combines excellent edge performance with corrosion resistance. The scandi grind makes it easy to sharpen out in the field. A semi-matte finish and a grinded spine round out the blade's dedication to bushcrafting.

Named after a village where people have historically practiced hard work and self-sufficiency, the Garberg is manufactured in Mora, Sweden. Morakniv brings the same quality and construction to the Garberg as it does to all its models.

Because a handle is just as important as the blade, the Garberg proves expertly balanced with an extra-rugged polyamide handle. Morakniv brags that the specially made handle material is close to unbreakable, and we see no reason to believe otherwise. A slot near the rear of the handle acts as a lanyard hole.
